Hugo believes the best financial advice begins with listening before recommending.
Hugo brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services and financial planning. Early in his career, he worked closely with educators, helping them understand retirement planning and the decisions surrounding that transition. As his work broadened, he saw that retirement decisions could not be separated from investments, protection, taxes, estate considerations, and the other parts of a client's financial life. That experience helped shape HCFG's coordinated approach: understand the client first, evaluate how the different pieces interact, and then make recommendations.
His approach focuses on understanding each client's priorities, explaining complex financial concepts in plain language, and helping people make informed decisions with confidence.
Rather than viewing retirement, investments, protection, taxes, estate planning, or business decisions separately, he believes each should support one overall financial plan.
